Recomendations for a log / timber grab

Hi all

Ive a 14 ton duck and tracked machine, both with tilt rotators , looking to add a timber / log grab to be used on them both took some sizable timber down yesterday and Im just not happy using the grippers on the tilty for this work.
Any recommendations for grabs, the market seems to vary wildly for new grabs from 3 to 12 k

We can supply Inermercardo or Dala-gripen. Both great grabs. It all depends on which style you want to go for, proper log grab type or finger grab, you would be looking at between 5- 6k

Cranab ... built like the proverbial brick crapper ... the Swedes know how to put 'em together .... ain't broke mine yet and it's had some hammer

it's handled everyone of these ... some barely manageable in the jaws/tongs, size wise

I’d put Intermercato above Cranab tbh. Both very good, but I’ve not bent (badly…) an Intermercato yet!

Or a Dala-gripen for that matter, but mine hasn’t done much work so isn’t a fair comparison. But Intermercato are very very good, strong grabs and they hold really well.

I've not bent the Cranab either - at all ... and as said, it has had some serious HD use

need to remember that Rich is talking about 14+t machines guys ...... not knocking the various brands suggested, but you're all talking about your experiences of small grabs ... I've given mine some seeerious challenges and not damaged it on the end of 16t of duck, often with the wheels aloft
