unlikely that you'd have enough travel and would probably be a difficult proposition as it was built as purely a selector ... can't recall the breed  AE IIRC .. and was a LUMP ... any idea what happened to the rotator off it?
I cant recall it either so for 10 points whats the brand ....

yours is bigger than that isn't it Richard? ... seem to recall it's a DS1100 or DS1200
Im not sure to be honest, I need to go and have a look in daylight and see what the plate says, I know its a big old lump, I think a new purpose made grab would be the way to go, to lower the weight and maximise the lift capacity

No idea what happened to the rotator, I can only assume it was redundant as it was always going to be used under the tilty

need to remember that Rich is talking about 14+t machines guys ...... not knocking the various brands suggested, but you're all talking about your experiences of small grabs ... I've given mine some seeerious challenges and not damaged it on the end of 16t of duck, often with the wheels aloft
To be fair, us Intermecatto boys are giving them some pretty constant usage.

Not just taking them out of the shed for another coat of gold paint 🤣

Had a conversation with the seller last night about something else he has listed .... came across as a decent, very affable chap and certainly open to negotiation IMHDO ... his 'mainline' is shipping containers, by the seem of it
