my little manor Micron walking digger has all bushes out of 25mm bore MDPE .. POP to make it bushes and don't care how many it gets through ..... snip and fit

That Eejit was employed by JCB. I made a new placky bush for my 801 approximately copying the original one. I thought it odd there was no grease hole and on the basis that no hole equalled ‘worn out’ I figure a grease hole might equal ‘ not worn out so quickly’ so drilled one.
I always thought it was a replacement! I wonder why would they would put just one plastic bush in out of all the others? If it was self lubing plastic like Teflon etc I can see the theory being sound. Hasn't worked out well though
It makes sense to press a bush in then drill it as you'll never line up a pre-drilled one.

In some cases I feel sometimes the machines could start at the king post with larger bushes going to medium down the boom/ dipper, the bucket link then could go back to larger bushes to have less wear over the surface area!
