I know the pros and cons of all of them, it's most likely to be what I see at a smart buy price come march/April. Although a D4 is edging it at the moment as that would let me buy a tax exempt 90 or series 3 as a toy
On a smaller scale- the laser engraver I mentioned elsewhere. Stepsister bought my dad a plywood box for Christmas, the laser engraving of a special section of OS map turns it into something else entirely

Didn't it used to be 25 years when they froze it before then going to 40.
Imagine if it had stayed at 25 and how many vehicles would be exempt now

Mines 3 years old and I'd contemplated swapping it for another iveco but they are 52k Inc vat for the spec I want (that's no toys but the chassis configuration and the tipper and tool box)

I know, I'd get a nice 4 wheel grab to update mine, I did think about it but I don't use it everyday so the old 54plate daf will stay.

Have you looked at the Isuzu. No frills 7t train weight and available as a tipper with toolbox both lwb and swb.
Starting around 20k cheaper

Yes, I've had isuzu grafter tipper before, great truck. Lad who bought it off me said same, so much so they bought 2 new ones a couple of years ago based on the experience of my old one.
I just prefer the iveco, this is my 7th iveco (1st new one I've bought), none have given me trouble, although the 10 reg needs a patch on the cill I noticed a few weeks ago. But by far the best thing for me is the zf auto box on the new one, I'd never go back to manual gear box now. (That's regardless of if I did get another iveco or other make, auto is the future)

On the isuzu, after having had a twin back wheel I'd say go single, with them been a narrow chassis in 3.5t...the speed bumps and twin rears means you never straddle them.

When I was looking at them I was advised to go twin if always running heavy or towing.
