Proposed drainage connection.

Gotta make a connection to a neighbours drain. I only just have enough depth so have got to come in flush although as i understand this is preferred with foul. Last time i had to do this i chopped in a flush 45 as pictured.

Thinking this time partly because of the outbuilding in the way I'm thinking it will be easier to come a couple of ft upstream amd connect the following osma base. I know it seems silly having 2 IC so close but both would have recessed covers and the lady will be ok. Im not 100% an IC is nessecary as if i connected a 45 immediately on the back of that chamber it would still be roddable? As it will hopefully be picking up a new dwelling and has a long 1.80 run my head tells me a chamber will be best?
What is the collective thoughs here?
Its hard work chopping out benching and altering pot pipework when i could just cut in a new section behind.

Which will be used most if it the one you want to fit will have to be flush with other one if the one you are connecting into is running regularly I am pretty sure you can just put it over the channel and let it drop in on the bend .but a new chamber would probably be easier. But I would probably run it past building control which they prefer as they will have to pass it in end

as long as its easily rodable should be no problems, if it needs inspecting by building inspector may pay to try and contact them to see whats acceptable a chamber is probably best but the smaller diameter ones are hard to rod if any depth to them i have found.

I think 2 risers max height

I think i should just about be ok with 2 risers current invert depth is 680 off top of pavings. Ill be a metre or so upstream then it will have a recessed lid. One that is being connected will be used more eventually

Daft isnt it the regs state max 600mm for that setup yet i can install a 45 branch and bury it no problem. I'll give bco a ring but im sure they would rather accessible if slightly too high rather than inaccessible 45 junc?!

Making me think of digging behind the manhole chopping a 45 branch in and job done.

What would you lot do?

Is it not possible to go upto a 450mm base.
Regardless of what the bco will let you get away with and whether you can rod it. You still want enough room to install a bung in there to test the system.

You dont see many 450 bases with flush connections and i need the depth

Concrete the base in then use square concrete inspection chamber risers bedded in and haunched up.
Use the 320 pvc base and sit 450 risers ontop haunched in at the bottom? Not bad idea tbf. Ill ask bco which he prefers a buried 45 branch or an accessible 45 with the 320 risers at 70mm too deep

I've done this for surface water but not sure what the regs are for foul to just use the plastic 450mm risers. When done for foul have used various concrete risers on top of plastic basis.

Some of these concrete sections are surprisingly cheap for what they are.

Bought a cpl of 900mm x 1m concrete rings in the week 135 ea in todays climate didn't think that was to bad

It was a while back but I had to pick up some 450x600 sections 225 deep and I think they where 27 quid each.
It was instead of building catch pits out of eng bricks so saved 2 days labour per pit.
