there's a tote bucket outside the back door - was empty when I left it there last night ...... got 6" in it by lunchtime .... HTF do they claim we've only had 28mil of wet stuff ????
loads of roads closed (all the usual suspects) around here .. 's not been coming down that hard this morning, just continuously

well we don't appear to have anything like the forecast - as yet - wet, horrible and dark, but only light-ish rain ... talking to Josh in Plymouth earlier and it is absolutely throwing it down there, so' likely to arrive from the South later 'praps.
whole week's forecast has changed over night ..Wed.s, Thurs., Saturday wet - Tues., Friday dry and the majority of next week
'nother day on me knees, praying to the hole tomorrow then
not looked to see how much water's in there this morning - too soggy to bother and been doing me 'Hamster juice'

true to forecast, it's hammered it down here, all night and the day's a wash out AGAIN!!
predicted quantity has halved though and at least the temp.s are up way higher than they usually are, at this time of the year
