Bloody lovely day here, dry, perfect temperature, nice breeze.
Good job too- been putting in metal lawn edging, no way of doing it without crawling around all day. 3 more days of it to go

My work load goes up 50% at this time of year so I don’t get too much time to hate the dark. Only 6 weeks till the turn around .Absolutely grim here as well. Dark wet miserable. Absolutely throwing it down tonight.

Avoid sitting around looking at the dark, and avoid the crap food and excessive alcohol. I usually let my quality of living diminish through the winter and it never makes me happier!That's positive thinking right there

has just stopped here after hammering down all night .. Friday's forecast has now been upgraded to 72mil of rain ... more to come today too .. 19mm apparently

Out walking with the dogs this morning and the pavements and road verges are covered in leaves all of the way up out of town.
We are forecast something like 30 hours of rain which will cause "totally unforeseeable" flooding down in Nailsworth
