been like that all night here - torrential - woken me a couple of times on our bedroom velux ... had eased off by ten this morning, but lashed it down again just after 6 this evening -- just as I was clearing up

Picked up this afternoon, left site around 2.30, 2 and a half hours to do 40 miles home
Did an hour or so on the log splitter in decent sunshine ready for a day of delivery's tomorrow- all put off from Monday as it was just so bloody wet

driving over to Russ's this morning - on the car radio - motorway closed around Bristol with flooding, with ppl having to be rescued from their vehicles .... not sure whether it was the M4 or M5 ?

Feck me it's been absolutely lashing down now for hours. Started at 12.30pm but really ramped it up at about 3pm and maintained it since. Going to be some floods for sure

been pretty blowy all day Bob .. but much drier than forecast ... didn't start 'til 4 and then stopped after ten minutes of serious wetting ... so carried on - 'til the heavens opened about five and hasn't stopped since ... 'sposed to stop about 5 a.m.
was on the phone to Mog, when it started and had to dive for cover in a box - got pretty wet all the same

Lashed it down all night, luckily it eased off at 4am when I was unloading/reloading the van- brought a takeaway home with me last night and really couldn't be bothered to go back out after I'd eaten.
Beaten the traffic into town this morning but I don't think I'll beat the weather today
