Incredible rain fall around 5am this morning, woke everyone in the house. Forecast never seems to get anywhere close to what we have been getting.

Friday evening was EPIC/BIBLICAL!!!
got caught in a 15 minute one yesterday afternoon - let's just say I got very wet ...
Squeaky puss followed me in even wetter - like a drowned rat ...

Spoke to soon. Absolutely pissed it down all day. Flooding now. Roads are chaos folk obviously forgotten how to drive in the wet with all this dry weather we've had ....

Day of extremes- drizzle in Ashbourne, rain all the way to the Land rover show at Belvoir Castle, nearly didn't bother and just went home, then- brilliant sunshine all round the show and all the way back to Hertfordshire,
where it absolutely hammered down, flash flood kind of rain!
Then reasonably sunny while I loaded the truck for tomorrow

Fine all day today in Kent until 4pm when not forecast it rained then hailed hard and thundered for about half an hour everywhere is saturated now although better warmer and drier weather is now forcast for the next week "it better as i havent had any of my classics out on the road since last tuesday over a week ago"!

well the predicted deluge is well under way here .... lashing down since early hours after an hour or two's respite and forecast to continue through 'til tomorrow night, about ten. Tuesday looking good, but more of the same Wed.s & Fri. .. weekend looking OK ... at least it's not cold with it ... was warmer outside than in yesterday evening

we've had a few downpours like that here the last couple of weeks, on and off ..... biblical doesn't even come near some of 'em ... Friday afternoon at Pontrilas was similar - glad we were sat in the crane cab and not stood in a cherry picker basket
