mentally cold ATM here (For our area).

I have never seen it stay pro longingly cold throughout the day before. We are in day 3 now of heavy frost and it must be -2 at this point in the morning. BUT i'm using it to my advantage :)

I’m in Sweden, about 40 k south of the arctic circle at the moment, yesterday it was +4 and raining. Today -5 and a strong wind, according to the forecast the wind chill is equivalent to -15. The prediction is a genuine -15 by the end of the week. Plenty of snow as well.

Us owd boyz in the east are sometimes unlucky enough to get a howling N.E from sweden which we call a "lazy wind",because it goes through you rather than round you BBBRRRRR

OK guys ..... float this one to the top for another bout of moans ......:mad:
I pity them that's about to be flooded yet again .... a weekly occurrence for some ATM
scrap HS2 and FFS get on with flood alleviation measure where required .... this is a year on year / month on month, thing now ... not the odd historical/100 year events they're claiming this sort of s**t to be.. Massive changes need implementing rapidly ..... the forecasts of yet more rain, are never ending ... min. 40mm here in the next 24 hrs - perhaps 110mm :oops::oops: ...... thank fk it's not solid white shite, but that is at least more manageable to a degree .... 'til it turns liquid again ... but can at least 'put it' where you want it to be, for when it does get soggy again
best thing to happen would be ..... for it to stop fkn hammering down for a week or two

It'll dry up eventually I've had one day in a t shirt already this year, but is has been pretty grim this week. We never seen to catch it as bad on the east coast we've not lost a day to rain yet

I wouldn't want to be where you are on the west it's normally fizzled out by the time it gets to the east

It’s pretty grim in Northamptonshire too. One of the lads said our yard was looking a bit worse for wear which is it I initially just thought we are just messy but you do forget the amount of rain we have constantly had since as far back as I can remember. When it’s like this you sure do miss the warmer dryer days of summer.

skin may well be waterproof, but can't do anything much when you're paddling in ponds :cry:🤬

Until last week which was nice here I forgot what it was like to have 48hrs dry. Seriously it must be the wettest oct-feb we've had maybe not total water but constant drizzle and rain
