I've 'progressed' as far as I'm going to, 'til the 'kin weather dries up some and I'm not fighting the bloody ground water again ... had dried out nicely, in that dry week we had before the bloody snow ... since then
sod battling it .. our water supply is fully functional again for now - the hole and all its bloody contents can wait to get sorted![]()

better off with manufactured boards like osb etc don't delaminate like ply does once top layer goes so does roof membrane etcGot to strip this whole flat roof off and re board. All softwood ply and needed to be marine for 35yr warranty on roof. Absolutely sodden been exposed weeks. New stuff gets felted each day after we put so much down. Not only was it the wrong gear they'd put it all down length ways with the joists, not across with staggered joints! Working in the weather when can but cant put new boards down in the rain. Same chippies who did the roof did the shuttering. Can't wait to see what happens when they pour next week. 3x2 cls, brown plugs and screws in sole plate, studs cut in middle and noggin ran right thru! About a metre wide at the top.
