I don't know if others have noticed it but everyone I know wants a metallic van as the white vans rust so much quicker and worse than the metallic paint

I always go for metallic silver if possible as it ages far better than solid colours.

I wonder if the same would apply to plant It would be an expensive experiment to find out but sure I've seen a couple of silver and gold metallic machines
It’s hard enough to try and get them to a none standard colour, never mind metallic!!.....the only firm who didn’t have an issue with me going metallic where Liebherr, who to be fare couldn’t of been more helpful with the idea. Yet go abroad and there are some stunning looking machines that are out there. But once again it’s that typical British mentality of “why??” and “no, we can’t do that”

and yet car manufacturers manage to achieve outstanding levels of paint finish :rolleyes: (y) ..... with some even warranting it for donkey's years ... there really is no excuse for the shoddy crap finishes they pass off as acceptable
That’s the the thing, isn’t it: it proves it can be done.
