do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
Thanks for the heads up. Probably wasting my time claiming as I suspected. They will have that locked down so it’s impossible to claim.
they'll do anything to wriggle ... cost 'em more for the solicitors than the wheel and tyre would have ... but daren't set a precedent.
their maintenance regime paperwork stank - different fonts, different sized tabulation, all on one page, page numbering didn't correspond -- blatantly fraudulent cut/copy and paste job - I really should have taken it further, (court), but after six months you just lose the will to live, for a wheel and tyre    you simply can't beat a corrupt regime like that

Another quality council repair outside my parents today. Grate was rebuilt a few years ago. Guess that’s another completed repair that will tick the box 🙄

appalling tick box exercise - for this week :mad:
should see some of the sh1t jobs chucked in potholes in our lane and worse still in main thoroughfares in Aber, whacked down with the back of a shovel ... often worse than the holes o_O:mad:

did you white line it?
's a good idea - might get the paint markers out, do ALL the bast**ds on our lane and try to shame the council into doing summat about them
would save a few tyres too
" now where can I nick some cones from?? ":unsure:
No, I didn't. But there's a stack of highways cones outside our yard so they're going to come inside the yard now ready for future ones. I think it's probably had a few victims

Much less s**t than it was before.

We learned a few lessons ready for next time!
Try and do on a Saturday as about 2 dozen vehicles coming in and out of the place this morning. Mayhem.
Spend more time prepping.
Dont use a wacker plate.
Spray your tools properly and don't use good tools.
Shake/stir the primer first.
They are called Tarmac Rollers for a reason.
Landlord found his old V Reg single drum which worked surprisingly well.
2000kg of hot tarmac fills a lot of holes :)
Cut the edges for a better job if not in a rush.

And no one is going to give me a job laying the black stuff any time soon 🙃

Whoa! what you doing there! you can't go filling potholes properly you know, someone might see and realise there is a proper way to do it! Thank god you didn't seal the top with bitumen, that would have looked far to professional. :ROFLMAO:
Nothing looks professional round here..
