Are those little self loaders actually any good or a gimmick ? Never tried one

I fetched a load of stone through someone's garage with one and it did what it says...loads itself

Only issue is when you've down to last bit it pushes it away rather than into bucket

Had some time this afternoon on it the people who had it before us didn't do the spark plug up ! That explains the water in there I sprayed some wd40 and left it a few hours and it has broke free thank god got no spark as of yet will have to dig into it abit deeper clean some of the contacts up etc.

It has been sat outside for 18 months so not surprised it needs some work oil stinks of petrol but they didn't turn the fuel off so again not surprised possibly the valve letting by he did say it has carb issues then again I don't know if it's ever been serviced?

Depends on the machine, our HP1500 and HS400 are f****ng amazing and function well as bulldozers (and gave been used as such on a couple jobs) the HS1100 is a Damp Squib, although I think that's down to the Yanmar engine being down on power and me being too lazy to sort it

They feed the high lift iirc, which then as I previously said if you had the self loader it have a change over valve on the mast to switch between.

Obviously someone didn't like looking after it it wants to start tho believe it or not but just doesn't it coughs and splutters etc think the carb is blocked up

fill the spigot with Devcon/plastic metal, drill and re-tap it to M6

It's actually caught a few and tightened down so I won't be undoing that again

I used to hire 1 years ago tbf I used to like them saved having to have another excavator or keep moving the 1 we used

I can't seem to find a hydraulic filter for the track barrow or what hydraulic oil it takes . Am I going to have to go direct to jcb ? I have tried inline filters and done some googling but nothing comes up for the model I have

Does anyone know if the white plastic bush should be greased and spin on the metal shaft or should it be a tight fit and the black plastic guides allow the hydraulic lines to just slide though them ?

I'd imagine the black pulley should free rotate as the hoses pass over them ... no sense in wearing the hoses outer by sliding
