Looks like you can’t use it with the blade in front. Not going to be ideal going backwards everywhere....
I did wonder looking at it there :(
Trax'd go nuts tracking about backwards, with all that weight on the drives, eh @JD450A :mad:

That forklift looks pointless on so many levels. Complicated, unweildy, downright dangerous. f**k all use as a proper forklift as the boom is always in the way.

I watched the video and think it would have its merits for smaller sites. Most deliveries come with crane off load and the ability to pick up and move packs of blocks bricks etc would be useful.
I am not making any comment regards it’s suitability to have someone working at height as I don’t like heights so I wouldn’t do it!!!!
As for the regulations, i will look forward with interest to see others opinions!

!

Then modify the hooks and hook a pair of pallet forks over your blade ;) Around £100, and you could even have a bar joining them at the front once pushed through that allowed you to transfer some weight to the jib via hooking on to the bar with the QH.

catch the fork tips with a grading bucket edge ;) think the issue with the blade forks would be ground clearance mostly

I'm too used to having a grab, forgot what a grading bucket is!

With assistance from the bucket lift, you should be able to get the pallet pretty high. Did you see the lengths they went to in the video to get the forklift to lift a ton bag off a pickup? Forks on upside down, and then a crappy adaptor on the forks to give more hook height! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

from Aiden's comments re- LOLER, actually just fitting them to the machine'd leave you on a sticky wicket, without any test certificate, let alone attaching their Heath Robinson man cradle  ..... lifting is lifting - end of - and once you start mechanically handling a load you are into the realms of LOLER, with all the various compliances that one needs to be aware of and adhere to.
These guys're likely to have HSE come down on 'em hard with their attitude towards compliance, now they're 'showing' and flogging their wares  ... product liability law is going to crucify them, with the first mishap and the law's attitude is "ignorance is no defence" ... their insurers, if they have any will simply walk away

didn't get the vid come up on my shite BB last night Doob ... now I've seen it, can see where you're coming from
Inverted forks - absolute no no
"crappy adapter" - bet that'd been tested and certed
hole in fork - if they ever had a cert. they'd need a retest after being modified :(
operational skills - could they not have found someone with a bit more dexterity
half finished display unit
I could go on

Oh and tracking about with that level of loading on the drives :oops: ... they ain't gonna last long

principle's neat, to a degree (y).... a LOT more effort and work required o_O... plus a LOT more knowledge on the implications of LOLER :cautious: - on everyone, not least them as a manufacturer :eek:
