I think I just need the mounting lugs, the actual props appear the same as the tipper. My tipper is only 2.5m long so the props are pointless.

Suprised they are included on a base spec on a tipper but not the LM
Yep, never used the tip props on my Indespension tipper (similar to the IW) and they too are all rusted up
Whereas on the IW LM146G never use the props. Too much of a faff.
Simply use a few blocks of wood to stop the arse dipping when loading/unloading etc ;)

Was the same on my lm146b, kept some gate post offcuts in the back, chucked them under - worked a treat!

I want the props because occasionally you get caught out and don’t have a handy bit of wood . They are not too awful if kept lubed. You don’t need to wind them down to touch the ground , they just need to take the stress off the drawbar

It's when the back wheels of the tow vehicle come off the ground and you take off.

The best price we can give you on a TT3017 on 12’’ wheels and no extras is £3425 + VAT.
In 2020…. Silliest thing I didn’t buy!!
In 2018 the one I have now (with skids and prop stands too) was £4825 plus vat - how that has now become £8k (after a significant dealer discount) is nuts!

I have done that once with a 3t Kubota on my first LM126 behind my old 07 Ranger . It’s quite an exhilarating experience the first time .
I saw mi old man do similar years ago....fair play to him he kept on going til the digger was on and the weight was back onto back wheels of the hilux.

Not long after I was told a trick of putting them in 4wd so when it lifted the back end you at least had the resistance of the front wheels, obviously needed to be in gear. Doubt you'd do that now with modern trucks and all electric buttons for activating it.

Wet and windy today. Almost as wet inside the shed as outside . Got the rest of the panels cast in today apart from the ends of the gable panels which I will grout in tomorrow.

Waiting for a machine to borrow and 20t of scalpings to get the inside area tidied up before I move all the kit back in here again.

My cordless kit now is all laid out on the floor at home drying

Got the afternoon to myself . Chucked a load of cleanish waste hardcore around the bottom of the panels, dug out and discarded a couple of spots of clay, then used the new rake to stir up the stony ground ready for a spot of levelling and compacting another day .

I was honest. I need something that will work on rougher terrain. He wants something for inside. Still a lot of machine for £1000+vat
that was a very cheap scissor - looks to have a fair lift height

It’s what I paid for it.
1997 Skyjack SJ 6832. 68” wide and 32’ lift. Needs new batteries and and the whole cage needs a shot blast and powder coat. Dosent like any sort of terrain :-(

FLT type batteries or just big commercial type ... neither are cheap but the former are eye wateringly 'spensive ..... 's a damned good lift though -did it have donkey engine too? or pure leccy?

Big commercial ones. 4 x 6v x 225ah About £600 + vat for base spec.
Pure electric (24v) and no computers.

This one is coming my way once Charles finds out why it has weak tracking . Kubota engine + 4WD + self levelling legs + no computers and 10 years newer. Hopefully much more suitable for my needs

Managed to wangle my last job of the day over near the old homestead. Got about 3 hours in on the little end of the shed. Put the homemade grading beam on the borrowed Kubota and scratched the ground about best I could then fired up the monster whacker for a session. Despite my superior grade ear defenders it’s still ringing about 3 hours later. Turns out using the world’s largest pedestrian whacker plate under a tin roof is rather loud 😳.
There is 19t of good scalpings sat ready for me to cover it with when I get a chance.
