I would say a Ford Zodiac. It has a 6 cylinder cylinder head, column change, front bench seat and overriders :cool:
AND McPherson struts 🥸

didn't notice the looong rocker cover before could well be a Wolsesley 6/80 or 6/90 too .... not sure about the struts on those though

You might be along the right lines? But so might @Routy56? I’m struggling to see all the detail on my phone and hadn’t noticed the top mounts for the front struts, until @Routy56 said about it. So I will retract my Morris Minor suggestion…..

Its in the middle of old slate quarry.
Damp proof coarse i think, but these are only about 3" wide.

Im going along with @Routy56 Ford Zephyr MK2 seems to fit?
My late father had a succession of all the old Zephyrs, Zodiacs and I even learnt to drive on a Ford Consul 375 Mk 2 with 3 speed column change :cool:
When we got married in 1976 he took us home from our Wedding in his Mk 4 Zephyr (AKA the Aircraft Carrier) - happy days :giggle:
