So now we know all the details and it's on a 2006 Benford dumper - what is the fitting IF I order on line?

Love yer thinking Rory - I actually like rummaging in parts bins :ROFLMAO:
But if I knew WTF these hoses were a few clicks and they would be delivered while I'm out earning money for more holidays
Got me thinking that in the 10 years or so that I've owned these machines it will be the first hose change.
So got some catching up to do. "The school of learning never takes a day off"🤓
Love the great practical advice from you guys so far 🥰

There is a manufacturer that puts small o rings on bsp fittings (can’t think of the make) and I only use twin wire pipe👍

Parker ??
I've a few hoses with the O ring BSP fittings .... trouble is you can't tell unless they're off and not supposed to allow them to swivel on the rings

If you use that few hoses I'd just take the ofending part down to your local hose place and get it copied. You may pay a bit extra, but you know it will be right. It will be done whilst you wait and you will be back up and running. I'm finding couriers can be a bit hit or miss at present and some stuff that usually comes in a few days can take well over a week, but other stuff is there next day.

So what you have at that end Routy is,

1/2" BSP Female 90° ... now for the other end😁
If its straight, no problem.. nut if it's a 90 then you'll need the complete hose off and determine the orientation of the two 90s.... hope this makes sense.

I've got my share of aging hoses, so was wondering pretty well the same thing.
As an experiment, I had a set of stabiliser hoses made from a guy working in bare feet making whatever you asked for.
4x hoses set me back less that £20. Time will tell if it was a good idea!

Sorry - I missed out one important detail:
Mine were made down a Vietnamese alley using unbranded fittings on hose that may (or may not) live up to it's specs.)
