I’ve got a 25 litre drum of industrial strength round up and egg cup into 15 to 20 litres of water and it kills anything

ditto ..... but only a 5 ltr can -- IIRC it's 100:1 mix -- I use a syringe to measure mine ...... good sh*t though

At the risk of getting some stick, Salt in large enough quantity to kill your weeds is going to be fairly toxic... I understand they are looking for alternatives to road salt for that reason as for Adblue

This is good to know I never realised that there was free weedkiller along the road from me provided by the council.

I like to be generous make sure I’m only doing the job once

Use a sand non classé - called" 0-6mm sable TP" - massive heap at end of quarry not classified used to backfill trenches/tanks etc - sets really hard after compaction.

5 years later when he eventually went to do something with it, it had set like concrete
His mini wouldnt touch it not even a dent with a 250mm toothed bucket. He had to pay a local with an 18t duck to break the pile up and that really struggled, gave up after half the pile and just left it

Get some waste vegetable oil from your local chip/frites establishment and spray it on the weeds on your road. Applied correctly it will kill the weeds, reduce dust and bind the surface very well.
And you may be able to get it free!

No chance of getting that for free these days! I rember as a lad a whole artic trailer of IBC's full of chip fat being dumped locally! Worth thousands these days.
