I'm well impressed with the plant hire company !
Probably the most media exposed hire in the world today and he didnt rush out to cover it with a brand new machine , no ,an old duffer of a Komatsu dash 3 (or possibly 5 ) with half the side panels missing is good enough to dig out the 220,000 tonne ship.
Rory's probably routing around with one of his bits of kit on the port side of it!

Today’s oops not the first time this clown had borrowed my Telehandler and bent the forks (should hide the key better) last time I had to scrap them as he had them fully out and bent them right round

luckly the bolts sheared and only bent the top where forks hook on bit of heat and new bolts

Missed the winding hole by so much that its out of the picture!
Entering a lock with a cross wind can be tricky though. Keeping enough speed to maintain a straight course but loosing it in time to not hit the gates at the far end can be a fine balance for an armature with a long boat - and there are always spectators!
