Should have parked on the grass!!!

I had a client that I worked with on quite a few aircraft hangers. Being asked to meet him at the airfield to “look at a job” would usually mean jumping into a Bell helicopter.
One day he flew down to an airfield Near the M4 service station at Membury. Hovering around he said he had better put it on the grass not the concrete runway. Half way through the meeting the office receptionist came in and asked the Boss to get the person parked on the runway to move. Several people in the meeting asked for the car registration number and the answer was “not a car. The bloke in the helicopter. My client said, “I parked on the grass!” She said, “did you not see the pot holes in the concrete? The grass is the runway!” He got up started walking out and said “I thought the pot holes where in the motorway!” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

yeah, about a mile from hillhead back towards the main road. The peak bookshop is on the corner of the junction (used to be a cafe).
