So would it of lifted the back of the tanker off the ground as he was driving, or lifted the back wheels of the tractor unit up?....and would something like that be instance or would it happen slowly?
I would hazard a guess that it went a lot more out of shape, once the unit'd dropped it off ... probably started quick and slowed as the vacuum decreased, as the volume did. ..... but once it gets out of the shape, that has the most structural integrity, it'd only go one way
's one expensive **** up

I remember someone putting a video up on the old forum of one going bang quickly, but there seemed to look like more damage was done to that one than the one that has just been put up.....driver will of got a bit of a shock😱💥

Yep went bang and happened quick. Once the cylindrical shape is gone it gets quite weak and will bend further and further the more it was moved around. No chassis on them tanks to keep straight.

What’s with the slabs underneath the front of the cab? Or have they been put there for support/safety?

no reason at all there Doob ... plenty of room ... lot of modern tools allow short rig in confined space, or for setting up/offloading pads/ballast slices/etc. .... no way would it allow for that amount of stick, short rigged and no ballast .... surprised the on board monitoring systems weren't going apeshit 😕

I’m not so sure, Gra. Look at where the crane stood, and where the stabiliser pads were? And the way it’s sat on those vehicles. Certainly looks like it’s pushed those outriggers in? Despite that not really being possible. But...anything’s possible....

nah ... them legs can't close in - -they're powered out with rams and lock in place James ..... they should also be manually pinned as well to prevent accidental withdrawal, in the event of a hydraulic malfunction ...... but with weight on there's no way they'll pull 'emselves in
