yeh saw that too ..... things're just getting worse and worse ...... vigilante mentality/rule will take over shortly .... the time is fast approaching where one will have to protect your own property, in any way you can :(..... the tea leaves are just totally brazen and swift justice is the only deterrent that'll make 'em think twice (y)..... been a few instances around here the last few months ;) ... they won't be coming back for seconds  .. or any more quads .....not 'til they've healed/mended anyway :giggle::giggle: .... and'll need new transport ;)(y)
Totally brazen up here, was in Asda the other nite, it’s one of those Walmart ones so it’s a big size... minding my own business when 2 youths came past me, on push bikes, the one at the front pulling a wheely, which to be fair was impressive, he did about 60/70 metres😎, got to the end of one of the shelved areas, filled the ruck sack, and shot back out!!😱 about 7:30 at nite and not a care in the world.

:eek: unreal .... :( ...... at the end of the day all the thieving costs the honest man .... someone has to pay for that sort of s**t .... and we pay twice if it's our gear they're pinching

Vigilante-ism is not far away ... and as said, has started to take hold around here .. have been several 'incidences' where the scumbags got a lot more than they were anticipating leaving with .... and it will increase, without doubt, in my mind

honest people are totally pissed off with the lack of support, from authorities, who in fairness, are facing overwhelming odds with diminishing resources.

It's not that new either ... 20+ years ago a couple of local prolific tea leaves were caught in the act pinching folks chainsaws .... Plod found them nailed by the hands, to a couple of trees on a local hill side .... unsurprisingly they had little to say about who had done it .... they left the area shortly after, never to be seen again around here :giggle::giggle::giggle::giggle: ... Joe public - 1 ... tea leaves - nil (y)

30 years ago a sleepy Welsh village suddenly had a massive drug/crime problem overnight ... a public meeting was called to discuss it .. plod were invited, who duly attended (Dep. Chief Con. for Powys) ... he was asked what they intended to do about it, given the intelligence they already had with regard to the perp.s .. with no coherent plan in reply he was asked to leave.
the people of the village dealt with the problem within a week ... life resumed to normal (y) ... Joe public - 1 .... arse hole scum bags - nil (y)

Marked out a 40mm plate of steel to make a couple of receivers for the new flat bed that will go on the ‘new’ truck when disaster strikes

:cry: ..... power go off or blip/dip Mog ?? ..... only trouble with a mag drill  ......

had a notice on the guillo and the press brake in work to check that there were no mag drills in use before switching either of 'em on ....

30hp motors starting, used to drag the volts down momentarily, but enough for the mag to let go and fook any cutter/drill in 'em at the time, if they were boring.:(:(

Surely that should have tracked up the pile easily!? And WTF was all the arm shaking about? Seems natural selection has struck again :sneaky:

if he'd not got the experience to be climbing that heap .... he shouldn't have been trying it .... way too gung ho .... as Rory said ... blade in the wrong place completely ... indicating a total lack of experience to even be trying the manoeuvre ...... glad he didn't pay for it with his life though

May seem like a simple question, but why was it wrong? Should it be behind when climbing, so can be put down to try and level up?
