my thoughts too ... sharp left, hit the brakes (which weren't adjusted correctly) and it just pushed him straight on into parapetYou mean the BMW wasn't the one towing the mini digger?
Maybe an undriven axle (tag axle) I had the same on my trailer lift axleSuspend tow ?![]()
did consider a tag axle .... 's a rear on a unit by the look of the 5th wheel, but the fwd axle is too far forward, so you could well be right .... they'm ain't gonna be retread material for sureSuspend tow ?![]()
Probably washed it with hot brakes then parked up for weekend brake seized on is my guess

Image 1 shows couple of days of dumping soil into pond to create a dam around it. we dragged it out eventully when a moat was formed around it and water pumped out.. it was long and messy..At least the sun was outI wonder what that cost to sort out
Looked quite challenging to extract !
Hi all, my first post
Following on from my recent joining, here are a couple more pics from the day that created my profile pic...
Happy to say it wasn't me
By default i became 'site manager' and operated this thing for a week with no drama.
Fast forward to a hse visit, he deemed that my regular ticket wasnt to his liking so an agency driver with demo ticket was dispatched..
I got the guy to read and sign RAMS and gave a small toolbox talk about working around deep water etc which he dismissed as irrelevant to him as he usually operates mens machines and 'not poxy little toys like this'....
The pictures are about an hour later..
No explanation was given as to how the ground just swallowed him up because he was 'miles away from the bank and the machine was smaller than he's used to'.
I said you might as well go and he produced a timesheet for 10 hours..
I was gone within 2 weeks
And that your honour is why cpcs is irrelevantHi all, my first post

You can't argue he didn't secure it. Pity he didn't engage brain when he saw the bridge.Looks like the tracks were well chained down. I assume there was a bridge sadly involved.
