You mean the BMW wasn't the one towing the mini digger?
my thoughts too ... sharp left, hit the brakes (which weren't adjusted correctly) and it just pushed him straight on into parapet :giggle:

What man as done, man can do, what never has, maybe
Suspend tow ? 🤔
Maybe an undriven axle (tag axle) I had the same on my trailer lift axle😢 because it spent a lot of time raised the calliper siezed and locked the wheel not a problem when it’s in the air but I collected something a bit heavier and it lowered and cooked a pair of near new tyres up😡😢😢

did consider a tag axle .... 's a rear on a unit by the look of the 5th wheel, but the fwd axle is too far forward, so you could well be right .... they'm ain't gonna be retread material for sure

It looks to be an American unit I reckon. Doesn't appear to have a mid guard brackets and it just doesn't quite look right. And the yanks don't do lift axles. They deliver there vehicles by putting the front axle of the new lorry on the 5th wheel of another. Sometimes they have quite a few stacked up like this. It would be my guess that this was stacked up like this and a few lorries back so the driver couldn't see properly

Hi all, my first post
Following on from my recent joining, here are a couple more pics from the day that created my profile pic...
Happy to say it wasn't me :)
By default i became 'site manager' and operated this thing for a week with no drama.
Fast forward to a hse visit, he deemed that my regular ticket wasnt to his liking so an agency driver with demo ticket was dispatched..
I got the guy to read and sign RAMS and gave a small toolbox talk about working around deep water etc which he dismissed as irrelevant to him as he usually operates mens machines and 'not poxy little toys like this'....
The pictures are about an hour later..
No explanation was given as to how the ground just swallowed him up because he was 'miles away from the bank and the machine was smaller than he's used to'.
I said you might as well go and he produced a timesheet for 10 hours..:sneaky:
I was gone within 2 weeks after....

Edit; found 3 more pics of rescue mission.

Image 1 shows couple of days of dumping soil into pond to create a dam around it. we dragged it out eventully when a moat was formed around it and water pumped out.. it was long and messy..At least the sun was out 🌞
