We used to get a fifteen mile stretch of trunk road with a known pinch point at each end to keep us on the move. The Muir Hill with its heavy front end weight bias added to by the weight of the plough was fun to drive. It would easily turn in its own length and with a tow chain attached to where the top link fitted could drag lorries up hills, happy days
