But accidents don't happen to blue card opps that classroom time is a direct replacement for common sense.
Could be a red card as regardless of experience if you haven't done that nvq the professional operators of Facebook say you are a danger

with the boom that high he should've had perfect viz of his mirrors ... assuming he could use them or hadn't knocked 'em off earlier in the shift :ROFLMAO: doesn't account for full opp.locks though

Trying to get back on once it's going over the edge would account for lock. Mirrors only any use if you can 1, use them and 2, are actually pointing the right way.

Yes but how would anyone know that.
well if he was a competent operator it should've been second nature ------- crab away from the problem , not turn into it  .. used to have a 4 wheel steer 12 tonne AT Onyx and was amazing where you could put that with some axle juggling

Looks like wind blow, no felling cut
exactly what i thought too, but as @Lynchy said, been pretty calm here recently  ... could just have rotted off, or tree has become too much for the roots to sustain

Doesn't have much root by the looks of it so may not have needed much of a breeze or help 🤷‍♂️

When you have a heat wave and the tree becomes thirsty all the cells contract this causes fractures that can lead to a tree failing.it can also lead to trees shedding limbs to reduce there mass and save themselves.
If there is then a sudden heavy down poor the thirsty tree sucks it up very quickly this mean the cells expand quickly and more fractures occur and can lead to failure. added to the fact the tree has massively increased in weight very quickly can cause failure.
This time of year is really bad for tree failures and is as busy for it as winter storms
