Saw the same post on FB, I think one of the comments suggested it was dealer-fit rather than a factory towbar. Lethal either way!

the ATS shop across the road from my old workshop had a photocopy of a photo on their notice board, of the imprint of a tyre fitter on the ceiling of a depot, some where, who had been stood over a truck tyre, inflating it, flat on the floor -no cage - which'd done the same thing - ceiling was like 20 ft in the air ... fitter died

well I have a tow bar on my old Z1000 and I'd give it a try if I was 'passing' for sure
... might need to pump up the air shocks a bit though

I think it was a transit custom that was posted the other week where the towbar flange had only been tacked so that lasted all of a few feetdon't 'spose he had any spare M16x50s in the van

They do but who ever supplied that towbar literally only had a couple of tacs on it
