LuckyPassed this on my way to the job. Indicators still flashing so stopped to check but nobody there.
Must have been a wild ride. Luckily it stopped on its side in the bank (after ripping a wheel off) rather than continue rolling into the stream

Just why...I mean hardly looks hard packed ffsI should have left the thick twat there and just gone home, don't know why I bothered helping him.
The first day in ages where we were close to home and on for an early finish, this guy turns up at an ideal time then wangs it straight up the verge, tosser
Lovely that innitNot really oops - this is a clever bit of winching from Crouch. They are dragging one of the boats out from the canal breach at Whitchurch (this boat didn’t fall in the hole and seems to be pretty much unscathed).
There is also a spider excavator on site that I’d imagine will be used in the canal to work in the breach itself in the coming days.
Some big money being thrown at this job already!
Why not put a temp wall behind the boat in stead of in front of it - then float the boat out?Not really oops - this is a clever bit of winching from Crouch. Crossed my mind...but I think it drops away sharply under the barge. So hard to seal and unstable etc so they'll not have wanted to put lads in there I imagineWhy not put a temp wall behind the boat in stead of in front of it - then float the boat out?

I think that’s already washed out from water flowing into the breach. The initial cofferdam was the other side of the bridge from the boat in your pic above. Why not put a temp wall behind the boat in stead of in front of it - then float the boat out?
