"Peter" got things moving.100% agree with all of that Doob ..... the overpriced crap bunny hutches they build and pass off for housing is beyond reason. When the majors are getting planning consents for sites already under water on flooded flood plains and it's nigh on impossible to get an infill passed or God forbid anything that an individual can build and be pleased to own on any site there is something seriously wrong with the entire system ... starting with local authority ****ing planning committees who know absolutely sh1t about what they lord it over .... populated by ***kers with nothing better to do, no idea and egos the size of the Atlantic, telling the populous at large what they can't do .. 'cos they don't like it
All planning should be taken out of the hands of LAs completely and placed in the hands of professionals
Hear hear on planning... absolutely bonkers here...stuck 72 utter shitboxes in 8 acres and yet my farmer mate can't get 1 ag bungalow that's hidden away behind his barn ....utter joke.
No extra amenities....hospital no larger than it was 30 years ago and yet thousands of boxes going up. Couldn't make it up.
