I would like to say a big thank you to all who replied and helped me with my seized track adjusting nut on my jcb. In the end a lot of heat and a scaffold pole did the job.
As advised on the forum I gave up on trying to reattach the track cleats (see picture) and ordered new tracks.
I think this forum is a great idea and very funny sometimes especially the make me laugh section.
