So no update for a while.
The fitting failed again with me being mucked about for 6 weeks, after speaking to Avant the issue was sorted in about 3 working days, they said that my hire charges would be paid for, still waiting for that but will chase them tonight.
On a plus point the machine is bloody great now, it has moved so much material, along with the forks being great for lifting and moving stuff around site

Don't complain - suggest what's better
You seem to be having a lot more teething problems than you should have, but I stand by what I said. Once it is sorted you will wonder how you ever did without one.
Glad I bought a Norcar though. My only teething problem was a low ground pressure tyre that just would not hold pressure. Ended up putting slime stuff in to sort it. Have had some problems since, but that is life running plant.

Good thread, we asked Avant a while ago about potential dealership but diddnt even get a reply. Good for them to be so busy

They removed the fitting and replaced the solid hoses for flexis. Two fitters who were from different companies selling Avants, both had never seen the set up that was on mine. It took him less than 30 min to swap it over

From memory they will, but you can't carry a load on the bed. Something like 6000kg train weight

Every transit is different even with consecutive number plates seems to have no rhyme or reason. Some of the double cabs start at 5t train weight.

Does anyone know what an iveco 3.5t 55 plate tipper towing capacity is, 5 sp manual box?

Was an avant 630 in auction Saturday only saw it pop up 800 hours made £10k, was severely tempted but taking it home every night stop getting stolen put me off
