Airman - aren't they Hitachi in a different colour?

Yeah I’m told airman build the mini diggers for hitachi up to 5 ton I think it is..

Yea seen he has a few in the yard they look like a tidy wee machine. Seems to be the only one at the minute with anything new in the yard.

He got a delivery there the other day and I think there all sold already. I saw that little micro sitting one day and snapped it up cause I knew it wouldn’t sit long and god knows when there’l be more coming in.

The fumes where dead on. I never noticed them all. It’s an old pig cru so it’s well ventilated. There’s holes in walls that you can just make out on the pictures and four big big ventilation shafts goin out of the roof. I had a good set of heavy duty peltor ear muffs. They worked well because I was able to put my MP3 ear plugs in my ears before putting the ear muffs on and was able to listen to the radio while working.

What do you think of the case cx130 c up against the hitachis Jim ?

In my opinion the case is a better digger. I started a job last week attending a pile’n rig. It’s real dirty work so put that 130-5 hitachi to it as I didn’t want my own machines plastered in concrete and sleetch. My driver took covid on Wednesday so I went and drove it myself the rest of the week. Was a good machine but I missed all my we comforts from the case. Eg sun visor,side view camera,all my buttons on the levers for radio,wiper, engine idle. I compared my 130D to a 130-6 aswell and found the case to be of beter build. The -6 hitachi side panels where very light and flimsy. 130D gives 10 tanks of diesel to a tank of adblue the hitachi give 2-3. Smaller tank but it’s the hassle of filling so often. Also worked my case beside a 130-6 a few times on the same work and my case burned less fuel over the work day despite doin the same hours. I know of three men local to me who bought dash 6 hitachis and two traded them in for cases after only a few months. The third refuses to drive his as he said it’s got no power and drives his 130-5 instead and give the new machine to his driver.

I’m gonna put my tin hat on and say In my opinion the cx130 case is the best in class machine.
