had a little thread going on the old cefourm that I kept updated with pictures. It always got abit of interest but as posting pictures became near impossible on it i havnt posted anything in years to it. So I decided to start a new one here. Hope u enjoy looking in on our work over here in Co Antrim.

Great to see your photos again Jimbo, great quality of work as always. How are you getting on with the case machines over the hitachi?

Hello Conor. Yeah getting on well with the cases. One of the 130d is just over 2 year old now. And the other a year. My brother brendan had it for a year first with the tilty but found it very light of the back end and hard to use with the rototilt on it. So he changed it to a new one with a 2.5m stick and I then bought it. I was using the old fh130-3 and the Ex135usr. So I sold them both for the case. Only had 1 problem with the case so far and it was sorted out quite quick by the dealer at the July holidays there. 👍👍

Drainage job started this week. Fairly tricky one this. Field is very wet with the wettest place near the gate. Only access to the field is down a long freshly tarmaced driveway with automatic gates and fancy pillers at the entrance. Was abit of a squeeze blindside reversing threw them loaded up and then around the S bend on the drive. Ground conditions are really bad so no hope of the stone cart moving threw the ground. So all the drains have been dug with the 3 tonner and stoned up with the 13tonner. Started yesterday morning with the 13 tonner cleaning out the main drain. 3 tonner started to dig drains at 10clock and at 4 clock this evening we had 500 meters dug piped and stoned. Its a lot less than we normally average. But not bad considering the ground conditions. The fela that owns the field had a water divinerer I think there called out before we arrived and he located 11 springs in this field. So where he located the springs he marked it with a post and we picked it up with our drains

Was that a Lexan shield on your Case excavator? We've got one for both machines for when we are doing demolition work but mostly for when we are brush mulching amazing the beating that stuff can take.
