Interesting one this. Opposite end of the scale to the two Ollies and others.

Two DX63s (from memory) ordered at Plantworx. Owner wanted just a simple tilt and rotate function onto a well-sorted machine with an existing quick hitch line and two proportional circuits. Direct mount.

No control system, just plug and play.

Pin the tilty on, make up the hoses and away you go.

Yes. Ordered through Mervyn Lambert five or six weeks ago.👍

do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
presumably Robert, a gripper and aux would still be an option, all be it with an either/or set up on diverters??

Depending on the specification, Graham. Ordinarily the SS0 setup (no control system) comes without a swivel, so there are no extra services below the tilty.

I was quite surprised a couple of years ago when an existing customer (of our higher specification DC2 systems) bought one of these for a W-N ET90. He made the point that the digger was only ever going to be used for landscaping and this was the most cost effective solution.

On reflection, I think he was right. If you need the extra services, go for SS9, which allows you to 'borrow' the aux or gripper from the tilt function. The swivel and control system will add around £2500 to the cost.

Again, hopefully something a little bit different. Ordered by and delivered within a week to Willowbrook and a nice tidy install by Arbgear for KKD (no - not something that we do regularly, we just happened to have the unit in stock:eek:(y)).

What's a little different is twin EC-Oil top and bottom setup - KKD are running a tree shear and a flail under this:

The other thing here is we are now standardising on our QSC hitch control for twin hitch setups:

The idea here is that usually the top hitch is an excavator function and the bottom is a tilty function - different hitch controls and different protocols. By standardising with this hitch controller you have the same process top and bottom. Requires ground pressure to initiate the sequence and won't allow you to hook the bucket to move it. Vid here (the boom and slew restrictions are an option):
