We are beuro Veritas and the last few years they have been hit and miss with their inspections. One guy actually said he couldn't pass our new loadall because their procedure for checking the Safe Load Indicator was to pick something up and boom out horizontal until all lights came on with buzzer with rear wheels still on ground, the new loadall has extra safety measure which won't let you boom out to the point of full buzzer. I had to set it up and boom out as far as it would go and stand on the forks myself to get the buzzer on before he was satisfiedprobably ..... Vulcan were my insurers appointed inspection agents
Exactly, it's doing it's thing making operation safe, he was just a bit out of touch imho . Other inspectors we've had have been spot on.Our loadall is the same, but it just seems stupid to go to them lengths when the system is clearly working anyway?!![]()
But who only has “ a “bacon roll, surely normal folk have twoI guess the fine line on weight is Quattromike after a bacon cob then?![]()
well if you did manage to break it, you sure as **** ain't gonna pull it off the wall in a hurry, with 10 fixings in itToday’s creation needed a bog roll holder for the yard (mrs mogman) wasn’t too impressed with my brothers attempt View attachment 29988
A 6” long screw in the wall
So came up with a twin holder

hope it’ll stand the weight off both rolls (they are quilted)![]()

Fancied one as an ornament...then you spoilt the fun with the comparisonHad a good day on the ‘boat’ today managed to strip both sides of the engine cut the drive shaft (8” solid bar) and pull all the pistons out
this is the last one reaching for the sky

they are 12.5 inches diameter just for comparison here are three pistons and con rods can you guess which one is from a land roverView attachment 30472
so now to get the con rod off had to carry it over to the press on the handler
View attachment 30473
and used a stack of old Land Rover pistons to push the ‘little’ ends out

this is what’s stamped on one of them
