not sure if it is him or not i thought this guy was more north Norfolk but then I might be wrong lol

Rob I think that is the guy from woodbridge way but I haven't seen him about much so he might have moved and got a new setup
You're right Tiny, the Daf is the other side of the waveney.
Did use crusher trucks on a couple of jobs, and quite an impressive, set up even though it does look a bit agricultural

What kind of rates do they charge? I got rid of 40t for 130 (65 load) here but I've bought back quite a bit of recycled type 1 at 15 per tonne.

If @JD450A does 20tph then this baby has got to do that or better. I've always thought the mini crushers never pay but you usually need to hire them with op and then someone on extra machine to load. I'm suprised you don't see more of these about seem good idea

That wagon unit won't actually be much bigger than mine. I'd say it'd eat 30tph

So what's the investment got to earn. Is it 100k worth of kit there? Operator plus maintenance.

You would be happy to pay 100 per hour as customer if you had a load or two on site to recycle. You think the wagon pays for itself on 500 a day?

depends on how fickle the customer is.I've seen one mobile unit turn up and start wacking out material containing half bricks still, start 100mm down that can soon slow output

Their putting a lot of fines through there and a lot of it is the same size as coming out the back. When the bigger lumps go in it slows output right down.

They ain’t that little.. you’ll need a 13t machine to load if sat on the floor or 6T+ if sat on the stockpile also something to clear the belt as you soon get a big pile at the end of it!

I don't like PTO crushers, very expensive lump on the front depreciating hours at a time doing what a 4cly engine could trickle on doing.....

Those Herbsts will chew, but I reckon I could make it work with that 7t if it had a proper size bucket on.... I suspect it's a 2' to aid presizing though

totally agree there J D. Think I'd try and find myself a nice little 5 cylinder bus engine and scheme it on there somehow
Apart from that they do look a nice little mobile unit
