Bit of an experiment today.

Had been asked to move this pile from a to b, Usually be a digger and dumper situation but thought I'd try the productivity with the avant.

Around 55t moved couple hundred meters in 5 hours (Inc breaks) taking it steady with obstacles.

Good point was I could stack it higher than you could with dumper at the tip site.
Absolutely ideal job for it- especially with the 4 in 1.

I bet you’re loving loader life?

4in1 is OK, definitely worthwhile having but I'm expecting more of it, but that probably because of the years I spent on the 432. Would of been nice if it was on prop rather than buttons and also I'm not sure if I like the flat floor in it either.

But I will say it's one of the better purchases I've made and one where once I've shown customers what it does, they ask for it again.

I had both a 4 in 1 and a much bigger standard bucket for my Norcar. Found the standard bucket more efficient in most situations as I could move so much more per cycle.
As you say, when customers see what they can do they are normally impressed.

Do you not find the weak point of the Avant is the ability to push? I guess it's ok on loose material, but on say a pile of MoT or Type1 that the wheels spin before the bucket is full, even with 4WD engaged.

With the 4 in 1 you just pull off the top to loosen it up. Or you’d fit teeth.

It’s all trade offs, you can’t have the agility and cycle speed plus the towability of an avant/multione yet expect it to push like a 3cx.

My Multione is getting noddy with a heaped bucket full of stone in the 4in1 so I’d say it’s about optimum for my machine.

No not really.

Just keep bucket flat and scrape up the pile abit before crowding.

Can get it overflowing the back of the bucket easily

I've also found using the extender while making a stockpile gets its nice and high.
