Just had a look at the 8010 brochure, 10.8KN Bucket breakout force isnt that great against the Hitatchi and Takeuchi, although the 700 width will get you in all but the tightest gates.
But according to the JCB website, the finance figures are based on a MRRP of £22k!!!! Now you would be able to buy one cheaper than that figure in my experience, but I doubt it would be below £19k - which is mega money for a micro - even if it does run 801 sized buckets.

I thought the job website prices where just completely made up. Some of the things on there are ridiculous

For 19k you could (or at least used to be able) to get a Eurocomach micro with piston pumps and dual auxiliaries on joystick rollers.

I like to be comfortable. Simple as.

Personally I don't find them uncomfortable at all.

The most uncomfortable of the micros I've operated was the takuchi with servos, followed by the sv08. But again that's just my experience.

The SV08 is an awful machine! Gets my vote for the worst micro out there. You hit the key with your boot getting on or off it which either bends it or switches it off. Ergonomically its horrid to drive, tiny working envelope too and the rollcage hangs out the back miles. Old design - in serious need of replacement!
I think the Kobelco Sk10 wants putting on the list - I remember Tom Edwards on the old forum had one. Very tidy looking machine and had servo's for Doobins back

Only a two cylinder engine and yet still 750mm+ wide!

Something not mentioned is kingpost slew angle. It's 90 either way on tb108 and if you're digging out in houses makes a big difference if you're reaching through doorways between rooms. And before anyone says 108 has a bum on it are any micros zero swing with the tracks in?

A couple of people I know have Wacker 803`s and seem pleased with them.

Our sv08 seems alright,was very reasonable compared to anything else out there.The lad that operates it is happy.Does what it says on the tin really,goes in small spaces and digs little holes.
