out of interest thought id compare the paper specs of the micro range. interestingly the hitachi is pretty much best of the bunch - on paper - with the bobcat bottom.

8008 does a job, better than a shovel. They lack the width the 8010 goes to so not as stable, the lack of weight means they get pulled about more. I don't mind the long levers. I'd possibly say I'd have a jcb 8008 over the k008-3 of the time.

My 8010 will out dig my e10 and dx10 but they are zts where the 8010 isn't. So I just select which micro suits individual jobs better. Power wise the 8010 wins hands down against every single micro I've driven

My only issue with the K008-3 is the engine power. Could do with another 3 or 4 horses. The 8008 looks to have a fair output for its weight.

My airman is a hitachi. Airman build them for hitachi. Both exactly the same machines only difference is the colour and the price.

Yes, bar the extortionate price new they would be my personal choice.

I've had a few since they first came out, the last new one I bought is now 12 years old and still puts a solid day's work in.

I like to be comfortable. Simple as.
