Very happy with mine. The track width + being 40mm narrower was the reason it won out over the Takechui. And It was 0% from a local dealer who is a good chap so it was too easy.
Saw a 0.8 ton bobcat on streetworks the other day. It's the only one I've ever seen.
If you mean the e08 then they are similar weight to the e10, albeit they only go to 1m rather than 1.1 wide. They are the same as the e10 but run sticks rather than servos

The only bobcat I know that was around 0.8 was the 316 which is a hanix hb08 with bobcat livery. Not a bad machine of its age. The e10/e08 was launched in aprox 2004 iirc.

Yeah it must have been that one, maybe sticks easier for clearing around services/standing up?

Can't say I can see that been a reason, I stand up with the e10 just as much as I do with my jcb 8010 on sticks. Probably more to do with them been cheaper to buy.

If the tb210 was narrower it would get my vote, other wise best micro that was on the market was the tb108.
The dx10z ok but not as powerful, my old tb108 could move a full bulk bag of gravel, it was pretty but it could drag it and it had a higher tipping point and more powerful

If the TB210 was narrower I'd have demoed and maybe bought one by now. Great machine on paper. One day I'll have enough money to have a 'super micro' in the stable alongside the 'true micro' E10- but it'll most likely be the Eurocomach:cool:

Personally, I don't mind a micro job. The way I look at it is, if you're sitting on a micro, the alternative would be a shovel. I used to avoid them though, until I learnt about the newer micros with servos.

The other big plus point for me is their transportability. Only last week I took the E10 to a little job to reduce the kerb haunching at the edge of a garden. Pecked the overspill off then pulled alongside with the tipper trailer. 450m bucket, down three inches and straight into the tipper trailer before loading the E10 onto the back of the Iveco. Being able to turn up to tiny jobs but also offer muckaway makes £200 for an hour on site much more reasonable. I've also taken the E10 to jobs on the back of the Iveco with the Multione in the trailer before- great for when most of the job is moving the material as you can just rake a windrow with the micro and then pile in with the 4-in-1.

Obviously for you boys running proper lorries, the above doesn't apply! But for me I've done 500 hours on my E10 in four years, and I'd say at least half of them wern't access restricted, it was just a handy machine to take.

It is nice being able to carry materials or another machine on the trailer as well as the digger.
I don't have anything bigger than the micro but it must be a pain having to move one thing at a time. I like being able to bring my tools home at the end of the day.

Spent today following existing services ready for disconnection and temporary supplies. Could have used a smaller machine than the Kx71-3………but it would not have had a Tilty on the end. Another reason why narrow access is not for e. My thumbs would feel redundant!!

Dream micro:

Still only 1.2t despite the name. Piston pumps, dual aux on rollers. That with one of those little S30 tilt couplers would be my lottery win micro.
On paper it looks a nice little tool. But had a sit on one at Hillhead and was not impressed with build quality, and the dozer lever is in the way of your wrist sitting properly. The pods open outwards to get out but it makes it really hard to get on and off too.
Great design in some ways but needs a bit of tweaking and improved plastics, especially the joysticks and dash as they felt really flimsy.
Proper tracking pedals though which you could actually use both ways - impressive for a maxro (yes that's my new name for these fat micro's)

Apparently they don't age well (or so the blokes who run them over here say)
and Bobcat must paint them ...the few I've looked at were very tatty looking.
