To be fair if you‘re happy with what you pay for it and it fits through tiny gap, digs hole, fits through gap on the way out. happy days.ideally with someone else (trusted) operating it,they’re all pretty good .

I've voted for the bobcat.. but it should be E10z I think as they are all zero now? I'd rather have the Hitachi badged one though as I prefer orange to white !

I think the E10 has always been a zero? Although as the tracks push out much wider than anything else on the market, achieving ZTS status probably wasn't hard! What I don't get is those micros (not always Chinese!) where the tracks only extend a hundred mil each side. What's the point?

The orange E10 is the Doosan DX10, not the Hitatchi. They do look great in orange I agree.

There's no perfect micro, but the E10 ticks the boxes for me in terms of comfort, narrow width and stability due to the large trackbase once you're through the garden gate so to speak. Improvements could be made, but it's a good package overall IMHO.

Got to be the bobcat it doesn't drive like a micro though or fit through all the gaps a 8008 will fit through

They are same as cat 300.9d. Think they go to 740mm
The last job I did with the K008, I was grazing both walls at one point at 700 mm wide. Has anyone on here run anything even smaller, like a Yanmar SV-05 or Komatsu PC-01?

There's a lad on Facebook that has an sv05. He rates it for what it does...or where he can get it. He says not so stable and only himself will operate it for that reason.

Fixed tracks, I believe.

they are about 860 mm close down to 700mm
The Cat website says 864 down to 730. That would have been me buggered on the last three jobs. (Assuming the Cat is still a repainted 803)
on edit, the W/N website quotes both 700 and 730 as minimums, depending where you look.

Very happy with mine. The track width + being 40mm narrower was the reason it won out over the Takechui. And It was 0% from a local dealer who is a good chap so it was too easy.
Saw a 0.8 ton bobcat on streetworks the other day. It's the only one I've ever seen.
