I noticed the Upgrade Account thingy when I was looking for summat else the other night and had PM-ed Ross to ask what it was all about...
I hope he won't mind if I quote a few phrases from our PM,s .....
he'd replied saying he'd been poking about in the 'engine bay' and hadn't realised he'd turned it on" )
but he didn't consider there was sufficient membership yet to contemplate trying to raise some funds, by way of help, towards the running costs of the place and a few 'perks' for members.
I saw it as a great chance for those that wanted to, to give a little back, at the very least .... think everyone had been very positive about contributing towards the 'new place'
As said .... it has cost Ross a substantial figure to get this off the ground and was sure that we'd all like to help him recoup at least some of it

so well done everyone and for anyone who's not yet seen it, or 'upgraded' .... it's not compulsory and now't'll change if you don't ... but it's a great way to say thank you Ross for stepping up to the line and creating a 'new 'net home' for us to all yap on

not been on the 'puter since Friday evening .... too knackered last night and watched Bladerunner II instead ... first one has to be one of my all time faves ... got the second one on DVD that Alex gave me months ago ... but not been able to watch it as Clara knackered our DVD player ages ago ... gonna need to watch it again a few times though .... and fell asleep half way through it last night
