Not just me then... Phones ringing at least once an hour with either that or a spam call - getting quite annoying as you never know if its a lost delivery driver or a nuisance call.
Speaking of Jewsons I went in to my local branch yesterday, I hardly use them now but handy for the odd little thing. Forklift driver who I've always got on with (always pays to have a chat - he serves me first over others!) says its got quiet the last few weeks. But then with the prices they charge I'm not surprised!

Just heard from my Brikkies today, the big sites around us are no longer going gung ho, no new plots to be dug until one sells, ie your all off hired until we sell what we have got, echoed across a lot of the sites in the northwest! Expect some 13tonners and 6/9ton dumpers flooding the market very quickly!!
Also Jewsons started ANOTHER spending offer this week!!

Chatting to local plant dealer today, he reckoned euros was 20% down price wise ? If not more on some stuff. and few staggering stories about how JCB have been treating big players...if true mindbogglingly bad...only way they can get away with it is a near monopoly position..

He isnt wrong 20% on some kit 0% on some others and 30% on dumpers

talking to a sparky i deliver to and he was saying one of our ew build sites has gone from plots this year to the site managers asking for 52 plots only to be told by the big bosses nope still to high lets aim for 25 next year. Quite a few on the site will e built to pad and then left to sit. last month in the whole of east Anglia they didn't shift 1 property
