for the big 21m+ overhead £400 till jobs done. no reason for it to take long as the time limiting factor is supply of wagons, it empties them fast!

Most we done in a day is 71 wagons non stop, site was 4 miles from breedons batching plant which helped.
Is that a key board error??

71 lorry loads!!! 426m3 is one hell of a footing!!

More likely to be 8m3 loads.. 568m3!! I’ve done some huge footings in the past, but never that much in one day, mostly because it’s alot to dig/pump out when it rains and falls in 🤦‍♂️

Terrain is different stuff to the domestic pvc stuff, v expensive! Although it’s all silly money these days!
don’t know if anyone else is struggling to quote for jobs on fixed prices , everything is going up between quotes and invoicing!! 🤯

back in '07 steel was going up every couple of days ... I was quoting work with a week's validity on material costs :(

had a quote from a stockholder I used to use last week for 4.5t of stuff ... some for a couple of things I have lined up and some for 'stock' ... no validity dates on it, but I'll bet I need to get it ordered sooner rather than later

bargain,there 2 to 300 quids worth there
the 50 x 50 x 3 is £4.95/M ... not far off the right sort of level paid I'd say if that's a 4' x 3' pallet, but on the right side for LL .... circa 12m of 50 x 50 x 3 SHS there - 55-60 quid .... the PDF I attached above'll give people a pretty fair idea on figures £1090/t averaged across sections/flats/angles/hollow sections ..... pretty fair prices from Roger, TBF (y)

Was 100kg exactly...loaded the scales mysell.
Quid a kilo Inc vat
weren't robbed fella -- £833/t +VAT .... that PDF above is also plus VAT :(
's how I used to sell off cuts - by weight ... way easier than calc.ing bits an' bobs from me price lists
