This could be a cheaper alternative Graham, especially if you’ve got miles to do, it also had a blade on the back with adjustable wings so that you could pull stone back with you....

What man as done, man can do, what never has, maybe
I built a towed grader years ago that was 8’ wide but had hydraulic wings that made it up to 12’ the axle steered and tilted so could put a camber on the surface used to tow it with my matbro telehandler that I made a towing hitch on the front axle so actually pulled it backwards made a beautiful job all controlled from a electric spool valve (proportional) that came from the ‘yard’ but alas no lasers back then

Don't complain - suggest what's better
There are all sorts of options out there. They do a laser grader for my Norcar loader, but it doesn’t have enough pushing power to rip up hard packed tracks. A proper grader would do a very efficient job.
Most are maintained by tractor mounted equipment that chews up the surface then is relaid by a tractor towed grader then compacted by a vibrating roller. If you could do the first two operations by something I could tow with my pickup there would be a big cost saving if the equipment was cheap enough.

This mirror caused a bit of head scratching to begin with...

Until we realised that once in the cab there was another mirror, which, when set up let you see the pick up points for the front Q/H,

EMA had quite a big stand, show casing a lot of what they do, including there new Zero range which are about 15% lighter than there standard buckets.

i ended up spending quite a lot of time with the designer of there range of trailers. They had been built with feed back from end users. The pin on the front of the trailer is so that no where you are when you come to contect it up, you can just pull it into the mouth of the hitch, the majority of hitch’s over there are the automatic type so it’s just a case of the lifting the jack leg up.

also the inside of the trailer had the sides sloping in so that they don’t retain any muck. Also the inside at the front of the trailer was curved so making it easier to dig muck out.
But the most impressive thing on there stand, was that EVERYTHING, had a price tag on it!!, no waiting for someone to take you details and get back to you. Be slightly better if a few more did that over here.

Thanks, I’ve got hold of his email address, like there skeleton bucket with teeth, maybe have a couple of uses for it then! there gear looks like they go the extra to tweak everything as much as they can, well thought out 👌🏻The way things should be....how do they compare cost wise?

I would say cost wise, there not far off what you’d expect to pay for something over here, depending what it was you were after, the difference been, your getting a genuine quality Swedish bucket, with the right geometry weight and size for your machine, which is important so to get the best out of your tilty.

Had the absolute pleasure of meeting this man, he is Ernst Menzi, the grandson of Mr Menzi himself, we had the best part of an hour with him, and it was extremely interesting listening to some of his story’s. He was saying that his grandfather got the idea of the Menzi from the Smalley grave digger, taking one back with him to see how it worked.

It’s THAT big, extremely impressive, and with the all wheel steering, a massive improvement on previous models.
