I don't know but the original Les Searle made his money in big muck shifting
He bought alot of the American cat dozers after the war that where left here
He never sold anything
When I was younger his yard was absolutely awe inspiring
Everytime something broke down beyond repair it was parked up and left there to disappear into the brambles
Several acres of every type of old school earth moving you can imagine
All gone now though

I didn't get a photo of it but 8 o'clock this morning coming round M25 and had to check the satnav to see if I had dazzled off and turned onto an a road as there is a fastrac with digger and dumper on trailer coming round the other carriageway

"you're nicked my son" ..... anything entering or travelling on a motorway must be capable of sustaining a minimum of 40mph .... a lot of mobile cranes technically should not travel on motorways, as they are not able to sustain the minimum speed required ... dog slow on the banks  (and not a lot better on the flats TBH)

Some Fastracs can (maybe could, don’t know if they are still made) do 85kph and were built to do it legally as far as I’m aware (full suspension, proper steering column etc).

Came round the M25 this morning and saw him again heading in the opposite direction sounded like a straight through pipe and tweaked fuel pump was one hell of a roar to it
