quite possibly ......... if I had all my old facilities DylanBet you could build a log splitter in an afternoon![]()
Would you mind posting some pics of your splitter/Fergy 35 setup please? The reason I ask is that I hired in a petrol driven Oxdale to do my latest batch but would be interested in seeing if I could get something to go on the back of my 35. How do you cope with the single hydraulic feed?Interesting thread, use a 20t PTO splitter on mf35 and processor regularly ..but just bought a lil 7t portek impact splitter for my own pile at home, blown away with it ...nothing else comes close speed wise to impact splitters .
Mate has this one it's blindingly fast .u need to be on your toes tho.
Yeah they not for everyone as needs to be pretty clean but then the fiskars X27 sorts them out.![]()

Surely all you need is a return plumbing into the back end.You will need to add a full control system.....
Think all you need is a return. Very simple solution i would think. Get one bought. There not dear, should pick 1 up for less than £500Would you mind posting some pics of your splitter/Fergy 35 setup please? There's cheaper options, but your better off with the full hit...You will need to add a full control system.....
Surely all you need is a return plumbing into the back end.
Simple enough Robert, the single feed into the P on the Valve and a return into the back end somewhere, pretty sure there is dedicated return place on the 35's but I have seen them with a quick release on the filler bung.Would you mind posting some pics of your splitter/Fergy 35 setup please? You need a valve similar to if you have a loader fitted, on the oblong plate on the top cover under your right leg if your sitting on the seat, and use the gearbox filler bung for the return, either drill and tap it bsp, or braze a pipe fitting in it, and run a hose with a QR to the back end as the return.Would you mind posting some pics of your splitter/Fergy 35 setup please?
