agreed .... but it's in Stoke and collection onlyIt's only £350 ono. Not worth making one.
thats upside down compared to mine sit in digger and work it from there no manhandling can even grip and split over trailer if needed surprising how quick and easy when you get into the way of it -I will post some pictures at weekend if I am using itUnless running off pto digger far superior for running splitter off if aux line has detent mode (constant pump) just got to be careful as hydraulic pressure on a digger is higher than tractor so cheaper splitters won't last.
Hence the now homemade splitter as the only bit worth saving was the ram and valve. It is two handed mindView attachment 19368

IMHDO that's not a bad price for that .... a lot of work and bits in there and being self contained's a serious bonusI recently bought a 22T ES Log Splitter from Rock Machinery. £1500 inc vat. It is meant for the horizontal use only due to some EU law that was meant to be coming into place apparently but got scrapped. However its just a case of not wiring up the micro switch. It works in both positions. Its been great! Its a very powerful splitter. Pic below is when it arrived. I looked at making my own originally, but I just couldn't make it for the money this was plus the time I would waste doing it.
Benefit of this is, its got it's own engine and doesn't rely on anything else to power it.
Highly recommended! Plus their customer service is great!
