I have what I think is a Lifton 6 Ton Dumper, there is no plate to be found, but it has a flat top Perkins engine.
The shuttle drive was prone to acting up, and for a while only worked in forward.
It has lying out in the weather, and now there's neither forward nor reverse.
The shuttle drive switch stalk on the steering column is a mess, but I've checked for current at both connector on the top of the gearbox and there is nothing.
I've tried tried a wire direct from the positive side of the battery to both connectors on the top of gearbox, but I don't hear any action from the solenoids.
Does the fact that there are two wires in each connector mean that it requires both positive and negative supply, because the unit on the top of the gearbox is plastic?
Any guidance will be greatly appreciated.
